    Ja sorry, hab mich jetzt grad Stunden durch exakt dieses Thema gewühlt. Einfach manuell auf 400MHz stellen, und auf 2T (1T bei 4x512 geht nicht). Bin doch Noob was OC angeht ;) Aber das Problem mit dem externen Raidcontroller finde ich weniger gut :(

    ich habe exakt dasselbe Problem, mit einem anderen Controller. Adaptec 2410SA. Es lässt sich nur mehr von diesem booten, die Onboard Raid Controller werden "unterdrückt" - egal was man einstellt. Ich denke das ist ein Problem des A8N-SLI Premium Boards. Anbei meine Threadbeschreibung aus dem Asus-VIP Forum:


    I´m trying to set up following configuration:


    - 2x WD Raptor Raid0 with onboard Nvidia raid controller
    - 4x WD Caviar RAID5 with Adaptec 2410SA raid controller
    - Disabled Onboard Sil3114Raid (slower than Nvidia Raid)


    1) Installing WinXP Prof with F6 and Nvidia drivers
    2) When booting installed WinXP for first time -> not possible
    3) System will boot from Raid5 configuration (but there is no OS)
    4) When i remove the adaptec card -> system will boot without any problems
    5) In the A8N-SLI Bios, there is no additional option, to force booting from Nvidia Raid0
    6) Even when i disable the Boot Bios in the Adaptec controller - nevertheless, system will boot from Raid5


    Der Adaptec Support konnte mir auch nicht weiterhelfen. Das ist eindeutig ein Problem des A8N - hoffentlich beheben die das mit einem Bios Upgrade, die das Raid5 an den SiI3114 zu hängen, ist eine Performancebremse, da dieser kein Write Caching beherrscht.


    Apropo, 4x512 Corsair Module laufen auch nicht auf 200Mhz, sondern nur auf 158Mhz -> DDR333 statt DDR400 -> muss jetzt auf 2x1024 umsteigen. Mühsam...
