Vorschaltgerät ersetzen T8

    Servus zusammen


    Ich habe 2 Lichtbalken, jeweils 2x58W T8 über meinem 2m Aquarium, wovon aber immer nur 3 funktionierten. Bei einem Balken war die eine Seite von Anfang an nie funktionstüchtig. Ich habe die Leuchten geschenkt bekommen und sie dann einfach neu abgedichtet (ihr seht gleich warum).
    Ich dachte immer, dass es aufgrund der Feuchtigkeit einen Starteranschluss oder sonst was zerstörte, daher hatte ich sie einfach neu abgedichtet und nicht weiter hinterfragt.


    Jetzt will ich aber mehr Licht und habe daher die komplette leuchte aufgemacht und gesehen, dass da wohl jemand schon mächtig dran rumgebastelt hat.
    Liege ich richtig, dass dieses Vorschaltgerät nur für 1x 58W ausgelegt ist? Einige Kabel waren nicht angeschlossen und die meisten einfach mit Tape abgeklebt...


    Auf jeden Fall möchte ich jetzt alles ersetzen und wieder auf 2x58 umbauen. Kann mir jemand sagen, ob ich diesem EVG anschliessen und somit auf die Starter verzichten kann? Oder geht das nur bei LED? Es sind "normale" T8 Leuchtstoffröhren, 150cm, 58W mit 6500k und 8000k.


    Wäre echt froh über ein paar Tipps.

    Das Vorschaltgerät ist nur für eine Lampe geeignet.
    Gut, dass es noch nicht durchgebrannt ist und deine Fische geröstet hat ;)


    Dein Vorschaltgerät benötigt vermutlich auch einen externen Starter, bei Neueren wird dieser oftmals nicht mehr benötigt.


    Für 15-20Fr. kriegste ein passendes Vorschaltgerät, da würde ich nicht lange überlegen (ausser du möchtest ein Dimmbares) und ein neues kaufen.

    Ein Starter wird bei dem Gerät nicht benötigt, gerade ein besserer Beschrieb gefunden:

    Ich hätte noch eine kleine Frage.


    Ich habe das EVG inzwischen erhalten. Ich würde gerne wie bei den KVG den Lichtbalken selbst erden. Bei den KVG geschieht das eigentlich schon beim Eingang für das Stromkabel. Dort wird normalerweise direkt die Erdung auf den Metallbalken geleitet.


    Beim EVG habe ich aber einen eigenen Anschluss für die Erdung am Gerät. Kann ich bei diesem EVG Anschluss 3 und 6 mit dem Balken zusätzlich verbinden und somit sollte der Balken geerdet sein?

    Achtung, 3 & 6 ist nicht die Erdung, sondern geht auf die FL. Das EVG wird entweder über die Anschlüsse auf der anderen Seite, oder über die Montageschrauben geerdet.

    Andere Seite vom EVG....Soll ich nun die Erdung beim Eingang machen, also vor dem EVG oder ist es wirklich über die Montageschrauben geerdet? :gruebel

    Wenn du eine Klemme hast, dann sollte die auch angeschlossen werden. Also deine Zeichnung ist korrekt, von der Klemme vor dem EVG kannst du auch einen Draht für die Gehäuseerdung abzweigen. So kannst du auch die Zuleitung auswechseln, ohne an den Klemmen des EVGs fummeln zu müssen.
