Die SATA Disk geht nicht, auf dem Server schau ich noch, da hats ne ganze Armada an Disks, wobei wohl längst nicht alle analysiert werden können.

Exakt. Insofern die SMART-Funktionalität sauber in die Plattenelektronik integriert wurde, dürfte man den Daten schon trauen können, aber die pfuschen da sicher auch ab und zu...

Ich habe mal mit smartmontools via USB meine Samsung HD154Ui getestet, da mein Lian Li EX-50 angefangen hat zu piepsen.

Sehr viele Werte auf Old Age, d.h. normale Alterung.
Jedoch folgende sind auf Pre-fail:

Raw Read Error Rate
Reallocated Error Count
Seek Error Rate
End To End Error

Und noch folgende (vermutlich irrelevante):
Spin Up Time
Seek Time Performance
Spin Retry Count

Bei meiner Notebook-Festplatte sieht es folgendermassen aus:
Raw Read Error Rate
Reallocated Error Count
Spin Up Time

Auf Pre Fail und der Rest auf Old Age. Festplatte ist ca. 1 Jahr alt.

Soll ich die Samsung auswechseln lassen?
Kann die Werte leider nur via Smartmontools testen. HD Tune funktioniert nicht via USB.

CrystalDisk Info zeigt jedoch andere Werte an...

Ob die Werte old-age oder pre-fail sind bestimmt nur was sie beschreiben, nicht den Wert davon. Wenn ein Wert auf pre-fail ist heisst das nur, dass wenn dieser zu hoch ist er auf einen baldigen Ausfall hinweist, er ist jedoch auch ein pre-fail Wert wenn er im normalen Bereich ist. Verstanden?

Nun muss ich nur noch herausfinden, wieso dann die HD plötzlich im EX-50 streikt.
Die lief da vorher problemlos

Jetzt kriege ich nur noch ein Gepiepse, obwohl der Alarm des Gehäuses abgeschalten ist.
